Public Relation and Marketing Department

INTRODUCTION


The main task of this department is to create and widen the network of IRC to the outside world and introduce the IRC to the residents of University Technology PETRONAS (UTP). Besides that, this department also in charge of proposals completion corresponding to events, managing events and acts as the middle person to the parties involved in the event.

JOBSCOPE


This department handles 4 main fields which consist of networking, ceremony & protocol and PR & Marketing.

a) Networking

This involves maintaining a healthy relationship between the FIRC committees and students. This department will act as a medium to promote facilities of IRC to them and at the same time building a bridge between the management of IRC and the users of IRC to ensure smoother deals in the future.

b) Ceremony and Protocol

All event management- the procedures, emcees etc will be handled by this sub-department.

c) PR and Marketing

The sponsorships for events conducted by IRC will be handled by this sub-department. Besides that, we are also the team which will be presenting the proposals of events to the IRC management and the collaborating partners.
